San Rounds Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 23, 2026
Introduction
San Rounds is published by Elberth Corniell. In this policy, “we” means Elberth Corniell. This page explains how San Rounds handles information. It applies only to the iOS and Android versions of this app.
It is written in plain language. Read it together with the settings on your device.
Information We Collect
San Rounds does not require an account. You do not sign in, and we do not ask you to create a password.
We do not operate a backend that receives the content you create in San Rounds.
San Rounds does not request your location.
San Rounds does not collect health, fitness, or medical information.
- San Rounds stores your sanes only on the device. There is no account and no server, and nothing syncs to other phones.
- The app never holds, moves, or requests money, and it does not process payments. It is only a record and a reminder; the agreement stays between the people in the group.
- No phone numbers or contacts are requested. The camera and photos are used only if you tap Add receipt, and receipts never leave the phone and are not included in backups.
- Reminders are local notifications created on the phone. Permission is requested only if you turn reminders on.
- On iOS, the app may ask to use the device advertising identifier so ads can be more relevant. You can decline. No names, amounts, or san data are sent to the advertising provider.
- A full-screen ad plays only if you tap Watch an ad, or the optional link when a san is completed. That is optional and does not unlock anything. There are never ads on the round panel, when marking a payment, or on the draw.
Information Stored on Your Device
San Rounds keeps the information it needs on your device so it can work without an account.
- Your sanes: name, contribution, currency, frequency, dates, and late fee rules
- Member names, numbers, turns, and draws
- Payments, partial payments, late fees, and delivered payouts for each round
- Receipt photos, if you add one (stored only on the phone)
- A summary of your next payment and collection for the widget, stored on the phone
- Backup and CSV files, if you export one
The app does not sync your information to a cloud service or to your other devices.
You can delete information in the app. Uninstalling the app removes its local database. A file you exported stays wherever you saved it, and the app no longer controls that file. If you back up the phone with the operating system, a copy of the app’s data can remain in that backup until the system discards it.
Advertising
San Rounds shows advertising through Google AdMob.
Advertising providers may collect device identifiers and analytics information. That can include an advertising ID, device type, IP address, and how you interact with an ad. The provider collects that information. We do not store it.
Where required, the app asks for consent before requesting ads. You can also limit ad tracking in your iOS or Android settings.
Analytics
San Rounds does not include its own analytics SDK.
An advertising provider may still measure how ads perform. That measurement is described under Advertising. It is separate from an analytics product we operate.
Third-Party Services
The services below can process information under their own policies when you use them or download the app.
The app stores do not give us your store sign-in credentials.
Data Retention
We do not keep a copy of what you enter, because it is not sent to us. It remains on your device until you delete it or remove the app.
Advertising providers keep the information they collect for as long as their own policies describe. We do not set those retention periods.
Children's Privacy
San Rounds is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you are a parent and believe a child has provided personal information in connection with the app, email us. We will help you remove what is stored on the device and, where a third party is named on this page, point you to that provider.
Your Choices
You decide what to enter, what to delete, and which system permissions to allow.
- There is no account to create or delete.
- You can delete information in the app, or uninstall the app to remove its local database.
- You can refuse or withdraw ad consent where the app offers that choice, and you can limit ad tracking in system settings. Ads from Google AdMob may then stop or become less relevant.
- You can email us with a privacy question. The address is in Contact.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this page when the app changes. The date at the top is the date of the current version.
If a change describes a new way information is collected or shared, this page will be updated before that change applies.
